Bhenswara Homestay Rajasthan

Bhenswara is about 130 kms from jodhpur towards Jalore and is connected by a good road. The Rawla has 15 well-decorated rooms with attached baths/toilets. The family has two properties there, The Rawla and The Madho Bagh.

The family of Thakur Dalvir Singh owns the properties and he along with his son Shiv Pratap Singh and daughter-in-law, Uma Kumari are always at hand to entertain the guests in The Rawla and one of them is always there to take the guests for the leopard Safari every evening. Often, before going on the safari, guests walk to the Madho Bagh and sit there in the garden sipping tea, awaiting the arrival of hundreds of thousands of parakeets to their home. It is a unique sight as the atmosphere is filled with the noise of the groups of parakeets flying in.

There are other activities too here like a bullock Cart Safari visiting the village and seeing all people going about their business and also seeing different tribes and communities with their different styles of dressing as well as their unique styles of tying their turbans.

The family is an deal to look after and entertain guests and it is an enjoyable experience for the guests to be with a noble family in a village. The setting is ideally rural and the amenities and facilities are all the best. The food served is tasty and a gourmet’s delight – typically local.
