	In Jodhpur, you are the guests of Bhavna Singh and Chandrashekhar Singh at their house INDRASHAN, which is simple but very comfortable bungalow with nine rooms, five of which the let out to guests. Their highlight is the food they serve to the guests and one can only believe it by experiencing it, their guest book is full of ravish praise of their food, which is totally a local cuisine, although they also serve continental food if desired.

Home Stay at Jodhpur

Chandrashekhar Singh will himself take the guests for the sight seeing of the Fort, Jaswant Thara , Mandore Gardens and the clock tower and explain to you in detail all about Jodhpur and its illustrious history. He will also take you on an excursion to osian on the edge of the desert. Perhaps he can also arrange a meal for you with the family of his paternal grandmother, who live in village in Osian and are typically rural folks. The couple will also host a dinner to you at the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace, once the largest private residence in the world with 397 rooms and built as a famine relief project. Now it is run as a hotel by Maharaja Gaj Singh – II , who also stays there in a part of the Palace with his family.

Winter is the best time to come as there are a lot of fairs and festivals and it is also a marriage season and so incase your visit coincides with a function your hosts are invited to, they will be delighted to take you along and show you the customs and ways of Rajput culture.
