Udaipur Homestay Rajasthan
Udaipur is often called the Venice of the East with its beautiful lakes and scenery. Here you are the guests of Janardhan Singh of kankarwa and his family at their Haveli on the lake or at the Udai Kothi. Both the properties are in the old city and managed by their respective families. Since Udaipur is a place for good sightseeing, you will have only your breakfast and dinner with your hosts while lunch will be in a restaurant so as to avoid wasting time to come back for lunch. Both the families are illustrious and well known intellectual families of the erstwhile state of Udaipur and the members held very high positions of responsibilities in the administration , defense and justice
departments of Udaipur state. They have now thrown open their Castles/Havelis for tourists to enjoy their stay in Udaipur.
Home Stay at Udaipur
The sightseeing of Udaipur consists of the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari, Eklingji-Nagda and a drive through the lake city. As you will be staying in the old city, walking in the area is excellent with crowds and in the narrow lanes.

The illustrious family of Kr. Hanwant Singh and Kanwarani Hemant Kumari of Pahuna are your hosts in Udaipur. Their ancestral home is in Sardarpura locality in the city and they well-furnished rooms with attached bathrooms with all modern amenities.

The history of the family goes back to Maharana Pratap, whose second brother Viramdev is the head of the Pahuna jagir. Kanwar Hanwant Singhji’s father, Brigadier Jaswant Singhji had a military career and commanded the Mewar Infantry which saw action in Europe and Africa as also liberated Diu/Goa. Kr. Hanwant Singhji served james Finlay which later became Tata Tea and he retired as a Senior General manager in 2000. Kanwarani Hemant Kumari hails from Anandpuri in Banswara. The couple are a perfect hosts and the guests will really enjoy staying and dining with them.
