Rajasthan Tour Package 2 - Essence of Rajasthan

Complete Tours for Independent Homestay Travel - offered in following pages take the work out of creating a homestay tour of your own. These have been specially designed keeping the pulse of the independent traveler in mind. They offer you value while retaining quality.

Day 01: You fly into Delhi by International flight.

Day 02: You are received at the airport and driven to a Guest House or similar to rest for rest of the night. In the morning proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi and in the evening board the Mandore Express for Jodhpur at 2030 hrs. after and early dinner.

Day 03: You are received by Chandrashekhar Singh or a member of his family at 0750 hrs. and taken to his house INDRASHAN to freshen, breakfast and then sightseeing of Jodhpur which will include the Meherangadh Fort, Jaswant Thara, Mandore Gardens and the Market. Dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Village Safari after breakfast, a round trip of about 64 kms covering potters’. Weavers’ villages and also seeing wildlife in the form of antelopes and migratory birds from Siberia. Dinner is at “On The Rocks” and overnight.

Day 05: Drive to Jaisalmer straight to Camp Rawla Kanoi, 316 kms from Jodhpur, with a break at Pokhran. Roam about on the Dunes, dinner by Campfire and overnight.

Day 06: F/D Camel ride in pre and post lunch sessions. Return to camp, dinner & overnight.

Day 07: More riding on camel in the morning and then proceed to Jaisalmer to be the guests of Divya and Vikram of Nachna at their Haveli or Mandir Palace or The home of Meenu and Ashok Balani (Anand Villa). Lunch and in evening take a walk in the old city.

Day 08: Full-Day sightseeing of Jaisalmer includes the Jain Temple, the Fort, Gadisar and Amarsagar Lakes, various cenotaphs etc. Lunch, dinner and overnight with your Host.

Day 09: Drive to Jojawar/Chandelao or Harji after lunch at INDRASHAN. PM take a walk in the village Meals with your Host and overnite

Day 10: Drive after breakfast to Mt. Abu and be the guests of Maharaj Daivat Singh of Sirohi at his Kesar Palace. Afternoon at leisure and walk on the Nakki Lake and view the sunset at Sunset Point. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Sightseeing of Mt. Abu includes Delwara Jain Temples and others. Overnight.

Day 12: Drive to Udaipur, 195 kms and your host is Janardhan Singh of Kankarwa at his Haveli on the Lake or Hanwant Singh & Hemant Kumari of Pahuna at their home Pahuna House. Wander about in the old city and have dinner with your Host and overnight.

Day 13: The sightseeing of Udaipur today includes the Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Sahelion-ke-Bari pre and post lunch and Eklingji and Nagda Temples post lunch. Return for an early dinner.

Day 14: The morning is free for you and there is an option of taking an excursion to Chittorgarh, 111 kms. Return in the late afternoon after seeing the Fort and take a train to Delhi. (Mewar Express).

Day 15: Reach Delhi and you will be received and transferred to King Castle or similar. Relax and at leisure.

Day 16: You will be transferred to Airport board your international flight.
