Rajasthan Tour Package 4 - Fabulous Rajasthan

Complete Tours for Independent Homestay Travel - offered in following pages take the work out of creating a homestay tour of your own. These have been specially designed keeping the pulse of the independent traveler in mind. They offer you value while retaining quality.

Day 01: You fly into Delhi by International flight.

Day 02: You are received at the airport and transferred to King Castle or similar to rest for the rest of the night. After breakfast you do sightseeing of Delhi and in the evening at 2030 hrs you board the Mandore Express for Jodhpur after an early or packed dinner.

Day 03: You are received by Chandrashekhar Singh or a member of his family and taken to his house INDRASHAN for freshening, breakfast and sightseeing of Jodhpur which includes the Meherangadh Fort, Jaswant Thara, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mandore Gardens and the Market. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Today you do a Village Safari by Jeep in the morning covering Weavers' and Potters' villages and seeing wildlife in the form of antelopes as well as migratory birds. Return for lunch and then proceed to Osian to see the 10th century Harihara temples, the Jain Temple, the Sacchiyamata temple and the step-well. It is a distance of 65 kms one-way and you return for dinner, which is at "On The Rocks" and overnight with us at our home Indrashan..

Day 05: Drive to Udaipur (281 kms) via Ranakpur (181 kms from Jodhpur) and see the Jain Temple here. After lunch at a restaurant, proceed to Udaipur and be the guests of Janardhan Singh of Kankarwa at his Kankarwa Haveli or Th. Hanwant Singh & Hemant Kumari at their home Pahuna House. Wander in the old city before dinner with your Host. Overnight at accommodation of your choice.

Day 06: Full-Day sightseeing of Udaipur includes the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari in phase one and Eklingji and Nagda in phase two. Lunch is at a restaurant. In the evening there is a chance to see a cultural programme. Dinner with your Host and overnight.

Day 07: A long drive to Kota via Chittorgarh where you see the historical fort and also have lunch before proceeding for Kota to be the guests of Hosts at Palkiya Haveli. Await lovely food for dinner and overnight.

Day 08: Full-Day sightseeing of Kota and Bundi. See the lovely Fort and the Palace and other monuments of Bundi and Kota. Return, dinner and overnight.

Day 09: Drive to Jaipur, 230 kms and put up at Digvijay Singh's Madhuban or at Candy & Col. Karan's Farmhouse or Dera Rawatsar or similar. A drive or a walk in the old city will be interesting. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Full Day sightseeing of Jaipur includes City Palace, Observatory, Amber Fort (with an elephant ride), Prince Albert Museum etc. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Today you drive to Alwar at leisure and reach Kothi Rao Guest House, being the guests of former aristocrats of Alwar. Take a walk in the city before dinner & overnight with your Host.

Day 12: Drive to Siliserh Sanctuary for Panthers/Tigers 30 kms away. Lunch at Tiger Point and in the evening see the Museum, Palace & cenotaphs. Dinner and overnight with your Host.

Day 13: After breakfast drive to Peharsar and be the guests of Giri & Yoginder Singh of Bharatpur at Chandra Mahal Haveli. Evening village walk, dinner & overnight.

Day 14: Visit the Bird Sanctuary after breakfast to see exotic migratory birds from Siberia and return for lunch. After lunch you have the option to visit Deeg Palace 55 kms.

Day 15: F/D s/s of Agra includes Taj Mahal and Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri (enroute). At 2030 hrs.
board Shatabdi Express for Delhi and reach at 2230 hrs. You will be received and transferred to your Guest House.

Day 16: Transfer to International Airport to board your international flight for home.
